Reviewing drafts
This is the most important step in the whole Assistant flow.
What a draft contains
Section titled “What a draft contains”Each item has a type, a title, a time, and the part of the syllabus it came from. That source is there for you to check against — when something looks off, read the original first.
Four types:
| Type | What it is |
|---|---|
| Exam | Midterms, finals |
| Assignment | Assignments and projects |
| Due date | A deadline |
| Requirement | A course requirement with no specific date, kept for reference |

assistant-review-01What to check
Section titled “What to check”Three things, in order of how often they are wrong:
- The date — especially items the syllabus wrote as “Week 8” rather than a date
- The course — that it attached to the right one
- The time zone — syllabi rarely state one

assistant-review-02After you confirm
Section titled “After you confirm”Confirmed items enter your calendar as exams, assignments or due dates. From then on they behave like manual events and can be edited or deleted.
Items you do not confirm
Section titled “Items you do not confirm”They stay out of your calendar. Leave them, or delete them.
