RUFREE Docs

Manage your classes, connect with classmates, find shared free time. This is what each feature does, and what it makes visible.

Start with your timetable

Almost everything else depends on it. Export an .ics file from your school’s schedule system and import it; versions are kept per term. See Importing your timetable.

Subscribe to course feeds

Paste a course’s Quercus Announcements RSS link and RUFREE reads the posts, looking for exam times and rooms. See Subscribing to a course feed.

Know who sees what

Every event has its own visibility, and your account has a second set of switches on top. Read Visibility settings before you share.

Assistant never edits your calendar

A syllabus produces a draft. Nothing reaches your calendar until you approve it item by item. See Reviewing drafts.

How each feature works and what information it exposes. It does not cover implementation details, algorithms, keys, or internal configuration.

RUFREE is an independent project, not an official University of Toronto service.
